Republic Wireless ~ A Smartphone with a Smartplan

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Republic Wireless for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Republic Wireless ~ A Smartphone with a Smartplan
OH. MY. SMARTPHONE.  I have yet to purchase one because I cannot/will not dull out the over $100/month that most have to pay just to be the proud owner of one.  So I have to admit something folks.  I long for one.  The convenience, the speed... the not-wanting-to-be-the-only-person-on-earth-without-one.  But with 7 kiddo's to feed and clothe I do what most of us SuperMom's do, spend any extra money on them.

Republic Wireless ~ A Smartphone with a Smartplan
Enter Republic Wireless.   A Smartphone with a Smartplan for $19 a month!  And not just $19 a month but unlimited calls, text and internet for $19 a month!  Can it be?  Yes, but wait, there's more! (said in my best infomercial voice)  This Super Smartplan also comes with no contract, without limits and without overages.  SHUT THE FRONT DOOR.  I want one!  Ok, this is starting to sound like an infomercial but one of those crazy awesome late night infomercials that you just can't help but be glued to.  Plus the Smartphone is amazing.  Let me show you (in my best bird calling voice) "Come Republic Eagle!"

The Motorola DEFY XT Smartphone has it all.  A front-facing VGA Webcam and a rear-facing camera with auto-focus, an LED flash and  4x digital zoom.  It has an Android operating system with wi-fi and 3G Sprint Coverage plus over 450,000 Apps through Google Play.  The Corning Gorilla Glass display is a nice 3.7 inches and is dustproof, water and scratch resistant!  Bonus for us busy SuperMom's.

Ok, so they've almost got me digging out my card and buying one.  But before I did that I talked with a good friend of mine who first told me about Republic Wireless about 6 months ago.  She asked me then if I had ever heard of them which I had not.  I did a little research and told her it sounded legit but I never looked into it further.  I recently found out her and her husband are now proud Republic Wireless customers and asked her what she thought.  She said "We've had our phones a couple weeks now and haven't had any issues!  We watched this company from the time they got off the ground and at first there was a 6 month waiting list to get on board. Now, they grew and they are all over (over 18 months later). They have even been featured in Forbes Magazine!"  Ok, now I really want one!
So now I'm in a dilemma.  Why?  Well it all sounds wonderful and awesome and takes away any reasoning I had as to why I couldn't be a Super Smartphone owner.  But it also stops me from telling my oldest who wants a phone that we can't afford it!  I mean what a better "first Smartphone" to have for a kiddo just entering the big 'ol Smartphone world than this one?!?  Well Christmas is coming...maybe we will have to see what Santa brings!
