My sponsor with a SuperPower! But have no fear, opinions are ALWAYS 100% mine =) |
Being on the wrong side of 35 I don't have many firsts anymore. But I had one last week... I used a hair smoothing system to tame my pregnancy-induced curly hair and frizz.
And can I tell you something? It worked! And it was easy!
And I'm excited to share my before & after's with you.
The 411 goes something like this: I was given this product to try out because my pregnancy cursed me with I'm lucky enough to have curly hair that moonlights as a frizz-ball. After I use the smoothing system I share my results, good or bad, with you.
Long story short, I have good results.
Here is my hair before using the Zelo Brazilian Keratin Smoothing System:
I never realized how uneven my hair is! Crazy shorter on the left side. So horrible! Glad 99.34% of the time it's in a ponytail. I have a terrible habit of pulling and twisting the left side of my hair but I digress.
The smoothing process was simple and even gave me a reason to veg out in my bathrobe while stalking some of my favorite bloggers =)
1. Shampoo hair twice with the Zelo Clarifying Deep Cleanser
2. Slip into a cozy bathrobe and towel dry hair
3. Spray Zelo Action Keratin into hair & comb to distribute
4. Chill out & relax with feet up for 45 minutes
5. Shampoo hair one more time with the Clarifying Cleanser
6. Blow dry hair
7. Flat Iron to seal it all in
I don't know if it was the fusion of the Brazilian Keratin, exotic oils from the Amazon Rain Forest, Omega Oils and/or the Organic Acids that nourished my hair, but it worked. And the results are awesome.
Now I must tell you, I am not a fan of blow drying or flat ironing. However with the Zelo Brazilian Keratin Smoothing System once you do the process you can
maintain the results with just a quick blow dry lasting for 30 more washes! I can deal with that. BONUS: The system is 100% formaldehyde free, contains no harsh chemicals or toxins and it is color safe.
So where can YOU get your hands on a product that have curl/frizz fighting super powers? You can purchase directly here or online at Drugstore.com and Walgreens.com. Easy peasy =)
Now...off to get a hair cut!
I have wavey hair so I use a straightning iron but would love to try this for the summer.
ReplyDeleteI have always wondered if doing it yourself would work. Your hair came out beautiful. Visiting from the SITS. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteStopping by from the SITS Sharefest. Wow! Those are some impressive results. I have naturally straight hair, but have curly-haired friends looking for options. I'll have to suggest the Keratin system. You're hair looks beautiful. (Love your cute header, btw!)
ReplyDeleteI love trying out new products! I'm going to google this now!
ReplyDeleteI had pretty good results with the Organix Brazilian Keratin Treatment, if you ever want to try something else (check out my results here: http://therealmomreview.blogspot.com/2012/03/taming-of-frizz-does-organix-brazilian.html )
ReplyDeleteOver for Saturday SITS.

Thanks so much ladies =)
ReplyDeleteI need to try this I hate my frizzy half curly hair!
ReplyDeleteYour results look great. I fight with frizz in my hair too. I didn't think that an at home product would produce such significant results.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing,
Kelly
That really made a difference! Isn't it fun to pamper yourself once in awhile?
