Sisterhood Saturday ~ Quilt Show at the Inn

Who took a few minutes for themselves this week?  Sometimes between the kiddo's, the hubbie, the house and the twin's cookin' in my belly I find it near impossible to even take a nice, long hot shower!  But this week I enjoyed myself at the annual Quilt Show at the Wolf Creek Inn.  It's a beautiful old Inn built in 1883 and is the oldest continuously operated Inn in the entire Pacific Northwest.  It's full of rich history, amazing people and even a ghost or two  =)

So if you didn't take any time for yourself yet, please enjoy viewing some of these amazing quilts.

Thank you to the Wolf Creek Inn for hosting this fun event.  It's amazing that you can eat and sleep in a 'living museum.'  I even saw the Clark Gable suite...Robert Redford slept there too!  If you are ever in Southern Oregon be sure to stop by, take a tour, have a bite to eat and enjoy the history told as only an Inn Keeper can!

  2. I LOVE looking at quilts and it has been awhile since I went to a quilt show- there are not many in our area. Aren't you just amazed at the artistry and skill of these sewers? I admire the creativity, too! Thanks for sharing these photos. Hope you get a nice long hot shower this week :)

  4. Hey, Marcy! I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE the wood "quilt" your husband made! My favorite oak tree broke in half during the last big snow storm :( I have been saving a big limb to make something, but hadn't been able to decide what--now I know! Think he might be up for a barter? :)
