If you haven't heard of Teespring.com, you really should check them out.  The above example is a campaign that was set up both in memory of the Firefighters from Prescott Arizona who recently lost their lives while fighting a wildland fire, and to raise money that will be donated to The Wildland Firefighter Foundation.  With my SupperHubbie being a volunteer Firefighter himself and the Assistant Chief at our home-town department this site, and particular campaign, really touched my heart.

Teespring isn't just for raising money when a tragedy strikes, although I am blown away that the Granite Mountain Campaign put a goal of selling only 75 shirts and last time I checked they sold 16,605 with 17 days left to sell!  I looked through other Tee campaigns running and I saw everything from Sororities and a University soccer team raising money, a family reunion Tee to help get everyone together, businesses using Teespring to offer a fun Tee to their fans and a wonderful couple trying to raise money to adopt by selling this sweet Tee:

What I find pretty awesome about Teespring is that you can create & sell t-shirts online without paying thousands of dollars upfront.  No guessing how many shirts or what sizes you'll need, and no passing out t-shirts one by one and chasing people down for cash.  Teespring does all that for you!  It's really as simple as designing a Tee, choosing how much profit you'd like to make, how many shirts you want to sell and for how long.  Then you can spread the word to all your friends via Facebook, Twitter, email and any other way you can.  Friends sign up for one, pick their size and don't have to pay until you have reached your goal in the amount of shirts you want to sell.  No upfront cost to you!  Like I said.  Awesome.  I tried their Tee Designer myself and created this fun Tee in less then 5 minutes with one hand.  Literally.  I was holding one of my twins at the time.  

Long story short, if you are looking for a way to raise money for whatever reason and don't want to front a bunch of money first check out Teespring.  Or if you are feeling charitable look for the organizations to support through buying and wearing their Tee!  =)
